Hey all,
Today I have decided to be a better version of myself after getting hurted by my close one's in my life. I'm a empathetic person who always gets hurted by other people's reactions. I care alot about people, they come to me for their issues but when I have issues, everyone just abandons me. Can anyone share tips from the books/therapy which made you a better version of yourself? I want to be a person who doesn't give a damn about others. I want to feel confident and stand on my own. I don't want to overwhelm others with my emotions and also I don't want to get overwhelmed by others and maintain safe boundaries when my feelings aren't reciprocated. Any tips from therapy is also welcomed here.
