My partner is taking me on a delayed Valentine’s Date to B+N. I want to get a new book or two, but I don’t actually know anything worth reading! Here’s a bit about my tastes:
- Not ACOTAR or ACOTAR like
- Spicy is okay but I’d like it more secondary if present
- The lengthier the better – I’m a speed reader and want to dissolve in a book!
- I love historical fiction, psychological thrillers, historical romance, paranormal thrillers… honestly my book taste is varying but I just love books that pull me in.

– Smoke + Mirrors by John Ramsey Miller
– Literally everything by Tamora Pierce
– Illusion Town by Jayne Castle
