Hi everyone!
I’m looking for books that explore the dynamic between a creator and their creation, where the creator is manipulative and controlling, using their creation purely as a tool rather than recognizing them as an individual. The creator appearing at first as a kind and loving individual, only to find later on that he is manipulative and a traitor to his creation. I’m especially interested in stories where the creation struggles with autonomy, whether they attempt to break free or remain trapped under their master’s control.
