Normally I'm a Sci-Fi/Fantasy guy, but I've been trying to branch out. The last two novels I've read were David Baldacci's A Calamity of Souls and Jodi Picoult's Mercy. Complete happenstance led me to reading the second one, but as someone going through trying to reconcile with a cheating spouse, it was a very helpful and oddly thereaputic read. Finished the whole novel in a day. Anyone have any suggestions that might scratch a similar itch for me? Willing to explore a variety of genres.
