Just finished The Vegetarian by Han Kang two days ago and for the last two days I was kept thinking about everything about it.

I had a fascination about trees from my very childhood. We had a eucalyptus tree in our backward and being a lonely girl with almost no friend, that eucalyptus was my best friend.

After growing up I see trees as some mysterious yet poetic entities.

What Young-hye told about the trees, especially how she realised that trees are actually upside down, it startled me. I'm amazed.

I once read somewhere that there are two types of pieces of literature that we tend to love.
One, when we read something and feel, this is my thought, my story itself.
Other, when we read something and feel why didn't I thought of this before! From today this is my thought.

The Vegetarian gave me both of these feelings to some extent.

Here, I'm asking for some suggestion to read after The Vegetarian. Not necessarily from the same author. I'm open to any suggestion, be it books or movies or anything, I just want to dive deeper into feeling that I got from The Vegetarian.
