I usually read fantasy… Wheel of Time, Mistborn, ASOIAF, Kingkiller, etc. Recently finished The Green Bone Saga, and I really loved it. To the point that I'm craving something unique like it. I tried Sword of Kaigen, and it wasn't for me. Just picked up The Blade itself by Joe Abercrombie, and it's great, but I'm finding it very clear that I'm not in the mood for a traditional fantasy.
For someone who loves fantasy, loved The Green Bone Saga, and even loves horror/ suspense… what is a book/ series you'd recommend?
I realize this is all somewhat vague, but I'm about as indecisive for my next book as I've ever been haha.

Maybe you could try Black Water Sister by Zen Cho?
City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett
Perdido Street Station by China Mieville
The Realm of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb. The first trilogy starts with Assassin’s Apprentice. I read the second trilogy last year and The Green Bone Saga is the only thing since then that has had the same level of impact.
Edit: It is traditional fantasy though
If you want something less traditional, maybe the Broken Earth Trilogy by N. K. Jemisin?
Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer is sort of weird and creepy – very atmospheric. Blend of sci-fi/horror/fantasy. Can’t speak for the whole series but I enjoyed book one.
