This is going to be oddly specific, but I’m looking for a book that is about academia and that special bond between cohorts like what the first half of Babel by R. F Kuang was.
I don’t particularly care if it’s dark academia or not, I just felt like the first half of the story was a love story with academia. As someone going through their second masters right now, I’d like to read something similar.
I tend to prefer historical fiction (this masters is in history) but I read most anything. I’m currently in the mood for something a bit more deep but I read a lot of light books too so those are also welcome (if such a thing about academia exists).
