Kill For Me, Kill For You by Steve Cavanagh was my first read of the year and I could not put it down. My heart was legit racing in multiple parts.

*Grapes of Wrath* really got me a going again last month. Fast paced, great story, overall classic.
In the past Jo Nesbø has helped me a lot. Generally quick moving plots if not particularly high literature.

Anything written by Shari Lapena. I don’t know how she does it but every chapter always ends with a cliff hanger and wanting me to read more

Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman got me out of my reading slump although it’s none of the genres you said you love but to be fair I hadn’t read that genre before DCC

The book to put me in the longest slump of my life (5 months 😩) was *I’m Thinking of Ending Things* by Iain Reid.
Very randomly, *The Silent Patient* by Alex Michaelides breathed some life into me. It wasn’t the best book I’ve ever read, but it got me scribbling pages and pages worth of notes, and it revived me. 🥰
