I'm a Corrections Officer, and sometimes at work when the inmates (residents for those don't like the word 'inmates') are sleeping or I'm in intake or other posts that don't require my full attention. I've read close to 50 books since I've started at the facility I currently work at. And the Heir to the Crown series by Paul J. Bennett is by far, hands down my favorite series. The character building, world building, suspense, the whole thing. But of course that's just my opinion, I'm looking for books that are similar in style. I don't really like any of the graphic sexual stuff, if there's a little I'd rather it not be like the author is trying to put me in the scene with how detailed they could be. If you have any recommendations that would be simply amazing. Thank you all very much
