I am on a kick lately of nonfiction books about corporate finance, greed, and shady practices. I started with Barbarians At The Gate, and have since read both Liar’s Poker and The Big Short by Michael Lewis, and just finished The Cult Of We, all of which I absolutely loved. Next up are Bad Blood, Too Big Too Fail, and All The Devils Are Here.
Would like to add some more to the collection if anyone has any recommendations.

The Informant
The Smartest Guys in the Room by Bethany MacLean – classic story of corporate greed / Enron
I also liked Number Go Up by Zeke Faux if you’re interested in shady crypto practices.
Going Infinite by Michael Lewis
The Fund by Rob Copeland
Easy Money: Cryptocurrency, Casino Capitalism and the Golden Age of Fraud by Ben McKenzie.
Yes, this is a finance book co-written by the former star of “The OC”. He lays out how he became interested in Crypto and all the interesting places it took him and the people he met. The sub-title basically summarizes his conclusions.
Crypto is a hot topic, so I recommend reading up on it.
Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe
The Jungle by Sinclair
*I.O.U.: Why Everyone Owes Everyone and No One Can Pay* by John Lanchester, about the 2007-2008 financial crisis
