My stupid phone has consumed the gap where books used to be.. I love DBC Pierre, I loved the book Education..about the woman growing up with survivalists.. I enjoy black comedy… a bit of grit and horrible characters you somehow love …but the library seems overwhelming and I don’t know where to start..

Consider Leah McGrath Goodman’s non-fiction *The Asylum*.
Has zero to do with institutionization, and as you’ll find, in ways is akin to the survivalists’ mindsets.
Either way, it’s a whirlwind of a read to knock-out in two and a half nights.
