Book suggestion for Human History/ Space

I'm looking to learn more about:

Humanity: I'm interested in books that explore our history, our psychology, our relationship with the natural world – anything that helps me understand what it means to be human.

Space: I'm a complete beginner when it comes to space so I'm looking for books that explain complex concepts in an accessible way.
