These are the books left by someone and are free to take. I am trying to pick back up my reading habit and am wondering if any of them is worth it. I don't have a genre preference as long as the storytelling is good.
- Skeletons in the Closet – Jean Patrick Manchette
- The man who died – Antti Tuomainen
- Tokyo Express – Seichō Matsumoto
- Randall Jarell's book of stories

I really like Seicho Matsumoto, he does very good japanese mystery/detective thrillers. I’d definitely read that one if you like detective stories, Tokyo Express is pretty great! I read it as “Points and Lines” years ago and enjoyed it a lot. Tokyo Express is a more recent translation of the story, so it may have minor variations.
The Antique Hunter’s Guide is quite good
Rise and Reign of the Mammals is a fantastic read!
I’ve read a few by J-P Manchette, to the extent where I’d recommend taking a look at *Skeletons in the Closet*. To be clear, no, I haven’t read that, but what I have read is enough to warrant giving it a good chance.
Kevin Barry for sure
