Hello everyone! I am curating a wishlist to use for my university English club’s secret Santa and I am at a complete loss. I genuinely enjoy romance novels; however, I feel like a lot of romance books do the whole genre wrong. I am totally here for friends to lovers or enemies to lovers, but when the connection between characters just isn’t there it feels very cheap. I also like smut but it needs to be done tastefully, not just randomly thrown in (ie. The People We Meet on Vacation).
For reference, I love the Bridgerton books, **love** the Hunger Games, and I love a lot of Taylor Jenkins Reid books.
Thank you in advance!

I often recommend **Us: An Intimacy Innovation** to college students. Warren Buffett once said, “The most important decision in your life is who you choose to marry.” The book offers advice on accomplishing that. Its plot line is shy *he* teaches popular *she* how to find ‘forever love’.
It does have descriptive love scenes; they *are* integral to the story. It does not have any toxicity.
