I’m mostly a tv watcher but I’d like to get back into books, but I have no idea where to start
My favorite tv shows are YellowJackets and House of the Dragon
I really like Dungeons and Dragons and I’m also into horror and general scary stuff, but I’m so used to internet horror that everyday horror like Stephen King doesn’t really do a whole lot for me
Prefer things in the fantasy / horror genre, don’t really care about spiciness

Yellowjackets is heavily inspired by Lord of The Flies by William Golding, so if you are not opposed to reading classics, you can start with that one.
If you are not opposed to reading YA, you can try Wilder Girls by Rory Power, which has a group of girls surviving at an isolated boarding school.
If you liked the siblings fighting for the throne aspect of HOTD, than you can try Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake. It’s a story about triplet princesses, that must kill each other in order to become queen. It’s a 4 book series and also YA.
