Hey! I’m deploying within the year and I’m trying to stock up on books to take with me via kindle and just paperback. I read pretty quickly and will have the time to so I’ll take any recommendations. I’ve read a lot of Stephen king, a lot of the classics, I’ll take any genre.
I know it’s a super broad question so to try and give an idea these were the last couple of books I read, “The Overstory” by Richard Prowers, “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn” by Betty Smith, “IT” by Stephen King, “Reading Lolita in Tehran” by Azar Nafisi , and “Remarkably Bright Creatures” by Shelby Van Pelt.

If you’re trying to stock up and you’re a King fan, why not go all in and start The Dark Tower series? I believe it’s seven books in total. I really loved it, if you’re open to something more fantasy-oriented.
