It’s a mash up of grounded yet action packed speculative fiction, slowwwww burn MM romance and thoughtfully written literary fiction. This is one of the best things i’ve ever read. The characters are so deep and interesting and each unique with their own quirks. And best of all, the way that they come to care for each other so authentic. Finally a romance it’s not just about sex. It’s plot first but ohhh the vibes. TJ Klune’s other books are great but this one is just so exciting too. I need to know what I’ve been missing on other books will tons of action and beautifully rendered romance.
