My recent latest 5-star reads have such a wide variety of genres, but I'm guessing the common theme in most of them are fast paced, thrilling, sci-fi and/or crime and violence-related.

Try The Perfect Run. Bonus points if you get the audiobook version.
The Library at Mount Char is more fantasy than sci-fi but it’s one of those that blurs the line and it’s quite fast-paced for sure
The Pines series by Blake Crouch. Short, exciting and quick reads.
