Hi everyone! I’ve recognized that I have the tendency to jump to the worst possible conclusions/spiral when I’m hit with triggering news/information and rather than sit with an uncomfortable emotion, I can be rather reactive and act on anger.
I’ve been in therapy for 10+ years but when I am extremely triggered, I only see red and can be harsh with my words. I’m looking to understand this more so I can grow and manage my emotions better. Any book recommendations would be helpful!
Also, I’d be open to reading books related to letting go of control since I feel as though this can attribute to me being reactive/angry when things don’t pan out how I’d hoped or when I feel let down.
