Looking to switch over from a Kindle Paperwhite to something better. I've been meaning to switch for awhile due to my aging vision issues, and now with the changes with not being able to download the books I paid for, it's pushed me to hustle and find something else. Is there an e-reader that I can transfer my kindle books to? I'm not very tech savvy, but I suppose I can find someone to help me figure that out. But also, my issue with the Kindle has been since my vision has changed with aging (presbyopia) it's difficult to read anything via a website, on the Paperwhite. I like to read myself to sleep, so reading without glasses, but then the enlarged font that I use only works within the Kindle book that I'm reading. If I want to use all the features of my Kindle without glasses, like looking up references, wikipedia, looking at the books in the Kindle store… all of those things don't let me read stuff on the web via the "low vision" setting, so I can't see a damn thing. I was wondering if another e-reader has an option to use a larger font when accessing websites, whatever e-book store you're using…. do I even make sense? I feel like my delivery on this question is just confusing, but I know what I mean lol.

Does the Kindle not have large font? I use a Kindle app on my phone and the largest is so big I hate it. MY brother has a vision issue, severe and has to have massive text and he finds it fine for him though
Use a bold font, and take a break every 20 mins or so. Avoid glare but I wouldn’t go as far as dimming it completely. Blue light filter but not night mode
