I just finished reading The Bee Sting by Paul Murray and found it to be such a poetic read regarding the tragedy of a life of shame. It was such a dynamic read. Among that same note, I’ve loved reading Demon Copperhead and A Little Life. Often times I crave an epic story of tragedy that can really hook me to want to learn more about the character’s life story.
I typically stay within fiction and bonus if it’s a longer read. I don’t typically go through a fantasy route but I wouldn’t be opposed to try it either if the story is well fleshed out!
