Southern Gothic thrillers/Mystery written more recently?

I’m familiar with a lot of the classics, but I would love to read more like Sharp Objects or Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Even better if anyone knows ones that are set in like the late 18 or early 1900s

(Written more recently like published from like the 90s-now).
