I reread Anathem by Neal Stephenson every year and the Aubrey Maturin Series at least every other. I think Id instead give up all new books over those 22.

Orlando by Virginia, I feel I’ll be able to get something different from it in the future as it’s so multi layered and the emotional journey it evokes and takes you on is incredible

The Lord of the Rings (reread multiple times already)
The Last Samurai by Helen DeWitt (reread multiple times already)
Betty by Tiffany McDaniel ( reread once and will again)
Shark Heart by Emily Habeck ( on my reread list)
The Dark is Rising sequence by Susan Cooper – a comfort read as fell in love as a kid and read it over and over.
Anything by Austen, Pratchett, Iain M Banks, Ursula LeGuin – all comfort reads that I have done more than once and will again.
There’s a ton more so maybe I’m not your target for this! I read fast so rereading feels normal, like watching a favourite movie or listening to songs but I’ve learnt that lots of people think it’s strange. I’d say 5-10% of my books are rereads and I do about 100-150 a year.

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley – unrivalled brilliance! And Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula le Guin — this is coming from someone who doesn’t read any sci fi!

The Dune and Hyperion books. Other than a sprinkling of Bradbury and Dick, I wasn’t even particularly a sci fi fan until I read Hyperion and was blown away by the literary imagination. After being bereft when I got through the series, Reddit recommended the original Dune books, which was the absolute perfect recommendation.

I never reread books 🤷♀️. I also rarely rewatch movies.
