I read Red Mars a few years back and though I really enjoyed the whole political and societal complexities, factions and strategies, the hard sci Fi or if you wish the hard geology were a bit of a turn off for me.
Does anything come to mind that is more oriented on characters, factions, characters plotting etc. rather than the hard sci fi part?
Doesn’t have to be sci-fi.
