Dead by daylight is an asymmetrical horror game, in which both killers and survivors are stuck in this entities fog and forced to play a game of cat and mouse for eternity; repairing generators and trying to escape, or for The Killers, kill all the survivors they can and prevent escape. It has an extremely diverse cast, characters pulled from different timelines universes future and past, and different survivors are clever and skilled; able to fight back so to speak. Characters from all kinds of backgrounds and genres are incorporated into the story! And under the entities power, both survivors and killers are trapped in the same capacity, not all is as it seems. The tag line of this game is quite literally
"death is not an escape"
it's my special interest, I have thousands of hours in the game but I love reading and I'd love to get something that makes me feel and think about the same kinds of things when I'm out and about reading, still chase that dead by daylight high.
If it helps at all I'm a huge fan of sci-fi especially, but I'm not really against any genre.
I will say there are certain topics I do not want to read about or have an explicit detail in my books, trigger warnings I avoid are explicit rape, sexual assault, accepted homophobia/transphobia, and poorly written women 💀
