My mom is turning 70 and keeps telling me how terrified she is about getting older and her future getting shorter. I don't know how to help her… When I'm struggling, I usually turn to a good book with themes that lightly hit on what I'm going through (but not in a too on-the-nose way) – does anyone have any recs I can give her? Or, if you've gone through something similar, are there any stories that helped shift your perspective? Recs don't have to be directly related to the topic of aging… whatever might help.
