I have never read any erotic fiction and recently was discussing how I would like to expand my reading by picking up something a little promiscuous while still having a good story line to keep me engaged.
I like fiction and romance novels. A favorite I tend to keep picking up is Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell so maybe something like that with intimacy wrapped in?
TIA!

Normal People & Beautiful World Where are You by Sally Rooney
I really loved Slow Dance by Rainbow Rowell — it’s not super explicit but might fit your bill especially if you liked Eleanor & Park!
Series with a good storyline, The Walshes by Kate Canterbary. The Walsh siblings lost their mother young and their father ended up an abusive alcoholic. The entire series is about the 6 working through their traumas and learning how to love–themselves, each other, and the partners they find along the way.
The Boyfriend Project Trilogy by Farrah Rochon. Three women realize one guy was dating all of them and lying about it. They become friends, resolving to chase their own plans and love finds them along the way. (These are very tame as far as the explicit content goes. They are right on the border between closed and open door.)
The Graham Effect by Elle Kennedy. If you want something that’s got a lot of sex but also a lot of plot. It’s a pretty basic hockey romance where they’re both college hockey players.
Head on over to r/romancebooks they will set you up
