I thought I was getting a sci fi anthology, and this just seems like a stoned hippie with a literary degree shoved as many literary references in there as possible, and was tripping on LSD when they wrote it. It's Poetic, but badly so. Mentions of ghosts going to different times and locations, but mostly it's a bunch of "look at all the literary references I use. I'm so well read and smart. That's why you don't get it."
And seems very Lewis Carrol inspired, also.
It's like the insufferable crap I wrote in high school and spent a lot of time in Berkeley. But it's as long as Stephen King's "The Stand".
If it wasn't written in 2012, I would swear it was AI. Author is Joe Green. Did I get the wrong "Chains of the Sea"? Does it get any better?

I don’t know, but I really enjoyed reading your thoughts on it.
