I experienced a house fire in November, and shockingly all of my books were spared from the flames. The smoke damage has left soot as well as an intense smoke smell on everything I own. I've thrown out most of my belongings, but I'd love to try retain my book collection. The smell is very triggering after what we have been through, so I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with cleaning and deodorizing books and could give me somewhere to start
