Iām at a point where I need to sell some books to get more š However, I always go back and forth about what price to put them at because I take really good care of my books, but people often complain saying I have it priced too high for a āusedā book. I mean, quality wise, they still look and even smell new so whatās the big deal if Iāve read it once? I just want to make back what I bought them for. What are your opinions on this?

A used book is worth basically zero monetarily if it’s a common print unfortunately. That’s just the way it is. I tend to donate them or give them away. Second hand books generally go for about Ā£1-Ā£2 where I am at most. Maybe more for academics but still a lot less than retail.
The books are only worth what buyers are willing to pay for them. Would you pay for a book face value if an owner already had it for a few years, even if itās in good condition? Something thatās previously owned automatically depreciates in value so you ought to price it in such a way that the buyer feels like theyāre getting a deal.
No more the 50% of the original price, less based on condition. If youāre selling the book close to the price you paid for might as well just buy new myself.
Theyāre not worth money. Iāve taken books to my local used bookstore and traded them for other books.
