At the end of the month I am going to Paris for a week. It isn’t my first visit, and most of my time will be with friends. But I will also have some time to myself. What should I read before I go?
I’m not looking for a travel guide, but something that will deepen my connection and memory to the place.
I love fiction with gorgeous language but couldn’t quite slog through Proust’s run on sentences and lack of plot (despite the gorgeous prose)
