I’m increasingly interested (and disturbed) by people who are motivated by greed and power. People who want more money more status more houses more more more. I’m sure someone has written a book about the psychology of greed and/or power (and their relationship). I’m looking for an understanding of why people are greedy or why people want more at the detriment of others. Does anyone have a recommendation that might fit the bill?
Please do not recommend Machiavelli or Sun Tzu. I’m looking for the why, not the how.
