I like books (fiction) with kind and honorable characters, strong communities, conflicts that are resolved and happy (not sappy) endings. I tend to avoid stories with graphic violence or abuse. I enjoy books with good plots and strong character development. I read all of Ann Patchett, Marisa De Los Santos, Amy Tan, Katherine Center, and Julia Glass.
