Some context, my Dad (64) is dealing with memory loss and speech problems and he’s wanting a short book that can help rejuvenate his vocabulary. My dad loves/loved reading but recently it’s confusing for him to read things with a lot of overlapping plots/time switching etc.
He really likes mysteries or science fiction. I know this is quite niche but could anyone recommend me something? I gave him Blacktop Wasteland about a year ago and he got halfway through it and really liked it. Think it was a bit too long for him though.
