Spicy romance with conflict but no unnecessary drama

Hi folks, so it's a bit hard for me to explain what I am looking for. I listened to Beauty & the Professor by Skye Warren and what I really liked about it was that it drew me in with the premise and conflicts (i really need a good conflict because I get bored fast) and the spicy scenes, but at the same time there was no unnecessary drama, it was wholesome and it gave me such a nice feeling of peace of mind, soothing me without being boring. I need there to be an audiobook, but if you are not sure, just rec and I'll look for it. Thanks, I really appreciate any suggestions!

Must haves:

• Story focused on the two MCs (I love it best when there are absolutely no side stories and no or very few scenes with other characters)

• interesting, maybe somewhat taboo premise (escort, student / professor – things like that)

• extra spicy

• it can be FM or MM

• light fantasy is okay if it is simple, not misogynistic and doesn't divert from the romance (The Wrath of the Fae series worked for me)

No gos:

• crime, mafia, drugs
• more than two MCs
• grim dark, gritty
• subplots, focus on side characters
• omegaverse
