Hey everyone,
I live a nomadic life and a couple of years ago started reading a 'classic' book from each country I planned to visit before my trip. I managed six before stopping (life…), but it was a really interesting exercise and I enjoyed it very much.
I've decided to take this up again and have just begun reading Independent People by Halldor Laxness, ahead of my trip to Iceland in a few weeks (liking this book a lot!).
BUT I'm stuck on finding a classic book for my trip to Greenland in June. My rules are that it has to be a book written by a native of the country, and I'd prefer a book that's either semi or autobiographical.
Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
