I've read a few books about mermaids… YA fantasy. Killer mermaid horror. Etc. I'm currently in the middle of Into the Drowning Deep (previously read the novela The Deep and just now getting to the full length sequel). It got me wondering, especially with vicious, siren-type mermaids, are there any stories with vampire mermaids. Meaning mermaids that hunt and turn people into mermaids.
