Hey guys! I posted here about 8 months ago looking for book recommendations after my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cervical cancer. You all were so helpful and offered me so many good recommendations that I’m still working through (I’m open to more as well. My TBR can never be too long).
Anyway I wanted to give to those who may be wondering what happened. My mom’s treatment has been going incredibly well! I believe if I understand her oncologist correctly all of the original cancer is gone, but she doesn’t believe have a new spot on her lymph node that they want to radiate, and keep her on maintenance chemo for about 2 years. This is way better than we were expecting.

I don’t have any reading material to suggest, I just wish I had as much support with my health issues at the moment. I feel lonely and frightened most of the time.
