I haven’t read a lot of Chinese literature, but what u have read I have really liked. Especially older or ancient stuff with esoteric or spiritual/mythical themes would be great. And it kinda needs an English translation as I don’t read Chinese.
I read a collection of short stories, one about a bunch of foxes moving into som old guys house and him killing them once he realized they were foxes. Only to be tricked into trying to become emperor by the old fox and having his family killed. I really enjoyed it, but all the stories were a bit short.
Do you have any recommendations?
I’d also prefer it if the book is originally Chinese and not just a foreign work referring to Chinese mythology or culture
