I’m finishing up the Gray Man Series and am looking for other recs.
I’ve read a TON in this genre. I know that I like some know-how on weapon/planning specifics without going overboard.
I don’t like overtly political thrillers (example: Mitch Rapp wasn’t for me)
Early on I loved Reacher but it got a bit too formulaic.
I’m also not a fan of when things get overtly silly/ridiculous. I like an occasional one-liner, but not someone that makes it their whole personality.
Here’s series I’ve read or tried:
– Gray Man
– The Old Man/Butcher’s Boy
– Mitch Rapp
– Orphan X
– Victor the Assassin
– Reacher
– LT Castle’s many series
– SA Crosby books (slightly different but still badass Protagonists)
– Jack White series
– Doc Savage
– She Rides Shotgun
– Sigma Force
– Lance Spector
– Slow Horses
– Some Bourne books
Of these by far my favorite are those from the title. Gray Man, Victor The Assassin (Tom Wood) and the early Orphan X books.
Any recs? Sorry for the long list; I read a ton
