New to reading books and ive become hyperfixed on Tim Winton, but I know I need to try other authors.
Key elements I like are,
Set in Australia or small towns, very descriptive of that vibe that im nostalgic for.
Very raw and twisted at times.
Big themes of solitude, self discovery and growth.
Lyrical style of writing, more literature than general fiction.
Ive read Kem Nunn's books who is an author who writes novels about surfing, which is good because the oceans very comforting to me
I also like Nick Hornby
