There's two things I love to learn about above all else: systems and strategies.

I find that there's not tons of books on systems theory broadly (although I did enjoy "Thinking in Systems", but I've read plenty of books on economics, behavioural economics, nudge theory, etc. Ecosystems are interesting to me as well. On systems broadly – I read the "Black Swan" but didn't feel like I leaned much (although I was already familiar with the concept). I find NNT to be a bit full of himself too – although "Anti fragility" really interests me as a concept. Network effects fascinate me, and I appreciated the NFX masterclass course, but haven't read a physical book on them.

As far as strategy goes, my favourite book was "the art of stategy", I think everyone should read a book on modern game theory for strategic thinking. Related, I loved "Thinking fast and slow", along with "Algorithms to live by". I've read the art of war but found it unhelpful and obvious (I have a hot take on this). I preferred the 33 strategies of war for military strategy.

Any book where I can deepen my understanding of systems thinking / systems theory and/or strategy/strategic thinking would be very appreciated. Ideally non-fiction, but educational fiction is great too (a la "The richest man in bablyon"). I'm also interested in power structures if that helps (I loved "The tyranny of structurelessness").

Perhaps this is a niche request, and I may have summarised my interests poorly, but I'm sure there's plenty of brilliant books I'm yet to read that I've completely skipped!

    Thank you ❤️
