So. I've started a very small book group…. it is just my mom and my daughter and me:)
We're looking for fun books to read. We've read: The Nightengale by Kristen Hannah, The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley, Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver, and Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. Any thoughts on these past choices?Any thoughts on future reads? Mom doesn't like anything "overly sexy or gory". Lol.
Pretty open to genres, although I thought a light mystery might be nice.

Ella Minnow Pea: A Novel in Letters by Mark Dunn is a fun read I think the three of you will get a kick out of.
Was Demon Copperhead suitable for your club? Mine are all over 60 and quite reserved conservative ladies
