I'm in a translated fiction book club at university. We want the next book we read to have a springtime vibe. It has to be originally published in a language other than English, then translated. Also, it would be great if the translation was less than 350 pages, but that's not essential.
So far we've read:
My Brilliant Friend: Elena Ferrante (Italian)
The Vegetarian: Han Kang (Korean)
Personally I think it would be cool to read something from Africa or South America but anywhere is fine. Any suggestions?
