I’ve tried to find something similar too but I haven’t 🙁 The “closest” by a long stretch for me is the movie Suspiria (the one by Luca Guadangino from 2019 I think)

I have not read it, but I just picked up a copy because it sounded interesting! It sounds like it might be like the anthology Her Body and Other Parties by Carmen Maria Machado.

“All’s Well” also by Mona Awad. It’s similarly surreal, unreliable narrator, weird relationships/friendships.
