I'm looking for something that who give me some escapism. First person narrative or something that will let me enjoy the adventures and of an shady and gritty assassin or thief.
Bonus points if the main character used to be a knight or paladin or something along those lines. Extra bonus points if the main character is basically a ninja…even more points for daggers.
I already read the first book of the Farseer trilogy. It was not my thing.
Looking for something like a hardboiled detective story, but set in a fantasy realm.
