Please im BEGGING for an actually good! romance book. Not particular about the genre as long as its not tragic. I really need a good mc love interest. NOT a cliche gloomy messed up guy and the sunshine girl who fixes him im so sick of that shit. Can be W/W or M/M or W/M idc. I just need a love interest that the reader falls for. Funny, witty, charming, respectful. And is kind of obsessed with the mc. Yk, someone actually worth rooting for. And they have a good connection and don’t self sabotage for stupid reasons.
I love rhysand from ACOTAR, jace wayland from city of bones, casteel from blood and ash etc.
theres plenty of ones i like from non fantasy books but i cant remember. also i like the authors,elle kennedy, abby jimenez, emily henry

I really enjoyed {The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston}. To me, the characters felt really unique and authentic and didn’t just fit into the standard tropes or personality types. The MMC is so sweet (he was my favorite part of the book) and his growth throughout the book was very relatable.
I’d recommend The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion!
