Sorry if this has been posted already! I've gotten through 47 books so far this year with only two 5 star reads. Stoner by John Williams and A Short Stay in Hell by Steven Peck. I'm open to just about anything and would love to hear your 5 star reads so far in 2025!!

I know it gets recommended here a lot, but Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver is by far the best book I’ve read so far this year. I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump so that’s the only one that stands out.
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes by Anita Loos. Witty, entertaining, and well loved by many in the literary community back in the day
Days at the Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yagisawa. So comforting and insightful.
Both less than 150 pages!
