To be honest I have been enjoying too much GOOD FICTION recently. There are so many TALENTED and INCREDIBLE people out there making FANTASTIC ART AND STORIES available to the whole world. I need to be reminded that sometimes inept and crappy stories get published.
Lets talk about the SHITTIEST works of fiction you have ever seen published. Im not talking 'this author was a bad person IRL' im talking 'how did this person even become an author'. I want to read something thats DOWNRIGHT DIFFICULT TO GET THROUGH. I think that doing this will make me appreciate other stories more because honestly some people just make writing look easy and I need to remember that it isnt

Never thought I’d say this, but you’re lookin’ for the Bible, friend.
I randomly got Chuck Palahniuk’s ‘Beautiful You’ at the library, went into it blind, and was just horror struck by it, utterly baffled how it got published. I have no reason to think his other works would make me react that way, but this one was truly awful.

“Armada” by Ernest Cline is the worst book I’ve ever read. It was the only book with me on a work trip to the middle of nowhere. I audibly groaned and sighed at nearly every bit of dialogue.
