I really liked “The Rabbit Hutch” by Tess Gunty from last year. It won a bunch of awards but honestly deserved more attention. Also check out “Cat Person” – yeah its older but still hits different in 2023 with all the dating app stuff going on. Both are pretty short and you can find them online for free.
